About Us
Who are we? CKOR Community Focus Group is a community-driven organization dedicated
to empowering youth and supporting families throughout the Triad. We provide essential
resources, enrichment opportunities, and impactful events that help children thrive academically
and socially. Through partnerships and service, we are committed to building confidence,
stability, and brighter futures for the communities we serve.
CKOR Community Focus Group Mission:
We are dedicated to empowering children
in our North Carolina communities by providing essential school supplies, scholarships,
and a range of enriching activities. We are committed to nurturing our youth and
fostering their success by creating a supportive environment that encourages learning,
creativity, and personal growth. By equipping children ages 5-18 with the tools, they
need to thrive academically and socially. Our concentration is more in the urban Triad
area! We aim to positively impact their futures and build a stronger, more prosperous
community for generations to come.” We are dedicated to improving the quality of life of
young people through Positive Youth Development in a safe and supportive environment,
encouraging youth to become active and productive on their success journey!

The CKOR Community Focus Group Scholarship supports graduating high school students pursuing higher education through a college, university, or trade school. We encourage applicants to showcase their goals, creativity, and passion for making a positive impact. Our mission is to invest in the next generation by helping turn their ambitions into reality.
